My kid has fall break coming up in 2 weeks I think astros will make the next round. I’m thinking heading down to see a game. Are the tickets hard to get? How far from Rayburn to the ball park? I know rayburn well but never drove to Houston from there.

Can’t tell you about the drive, but you can expect $400-$800 per ticket for SRO, $1k-$1,500 for decent field level seats, and $4k-$5k for field box seats. Check stubhub.com , when I was looking for my tickets, astros.com only had single seats available, stubhub has plenty.

Rayburn is at least 2 hours from Minute Maid ballpark and yep them are gonna be very expensive seats , season ticket holders get first shot at them & a great number of those only buy to re-sell, this is where they get back the money they lost during slow days in regular season

If you wait a couple hours before, the tickets will drop drastically. I’ve never paid more then $300 for low level seats for WS. But in a big market they won’t ever drop.

I was going to suggest this.
How old are the kids? If you don't get tickets there are a bunch of bars and restaurants in the area and I'm sure there will be a fun crowd.

Where on Rayburn are you coming from? I live mid lake and Minute made is about 160 miles from here. At least 3 hours drive time.

I will stay at the old bass buster. I don’t live there just gonfish there a bunch. I’m ready for a trip there. Taking my kid to the game will be fun. He’s getting into baseball I could handle 300 tickets. I once went to a cards game and bought scalped tickets from a nun. That’s a trues story lol. She even had the all you can eat and drink section. Was a epic day

I would never go to a postseason game without tickets in hand and yes, I’ve heard all the stories about cheap tickets to be had at game time

And so have several thousand other people but there are typically a LOT more buyers than sellers

Be careful buying for the dudes selling tickets around the stadium, big deal on the news right now is about the fake tickets out there right now. Get them from a site.

I agree with this. I’m sure some people don’t get burned, but it’s not worth the risk in my opinion, especially when you’re talking a mortgage payment per ticket.
