2YR old unit and the screen will not scroll. Is there anyone local that repairs electronics?

Is it the Chart view or sonar views?
Have you tried Restore Defaults ?
A new software update is on the Humminbird website for all the Helix units.

sonar view...it was pausing for a second or two on several trips then stopped all together. Let me check the update

Not getting a signal from the transducer maybe? Does it have DI or SI and are they working?

Nothing is working, 2D DI or SI...mapping works fine...Been told that even if transducer was bad the screen should still scroll..

Well I would try hooking up a different transducer and see what happens. You dont need to put it on the boat just plug it in the back and set it on the seat. That should at least rule out the transducer and wiring as problems.
Same idea you could take ur unit and put it in someone elses boat. At least u would know if the unit is the problem or something else.
