A lot of fun poked at this thing but what if it actually worked. I know if I bought one and it worked, I wouldn't tell anyone that it worked. I dang sure wouldn't tell anyone that I bought one. It isn't very expensive compared to that Garmin thing.

I'm sure it works, maybe even better than the Color-C-Lector (if that's even possible) They are priced about the same.

maybe I got the name wrong. thanks for the answers, this is killer for marking deeps beds in clear water. Locate big momma, place golf ball and come get er later in the day.
If someone wants to make one for $50 I'll give the first order. I think it should come with a teenager young and limber enough to bend over the side a the boat

5 gallon bucket, plexiglass and epoxy.. I have seen people with just such a contraption in the spring. You'd be surprised how well it works.

Could also come in handy as a road side hazard indicator cone, use it to reserve a parking spot, take to bottom off to turn it into a megaphone to yell at the guy potlicking into your area.
Genius I tell ya!

Ha, I'd love to see the sales numbers on these things. Wildly impractical in just about every way I can think of. Cost, size, functionality, general usefulness... They have be selling well...its not easy getting a product into TW and then keeping it there.

The anglers up north that do not buy one call it cheating because they can't beat the ones that are using them during sight fishing events!
I bought one the first year that the Elites went to Bull Shoals in April. I had BASS Central open the following week on Table Rock so I knew I could get two uses out of it for a mere $100. Fast forward two weeks to when we get there and a giant algae bloom covers both lakes. Never got to use it there. I have since used it Amistad and Kurth with much success. It really helps having an Ultrex or someone else in the boat to control it while you look. I also have to carry Tums or Rolaids because bending over that long gives me acid reflux. I plan on using it heavily at Champlain in 2019 for the FLW Tour event.

Guaranteed that thing has its place somewhere. Probably not in most places in Texas, but definitely in clear water where the fish tend to spawn out deeper.

Ive sen videos of using a 5 gal bucket with the bottom cut out. There isnt any guessing if it works, you can see it yourself. The problem is that our lakes arent generally clear enough to look deep enough to see.

For deep water clear sight fishing it's the only way to go.
