Hello all, I am new to the area lakes. just got a boat and trying to learn where to fish (just basic areas, not your honey holes)on Lake Lewisville and Ray Roberts. Grew up fishing in Louisiana and have either fished stained or muddy areas. Flipped, pitched, spinner baits or crank bait fishing. New to the deep water point style of fishing. Would really appreciate some help with best colors and what to look for on these lakes. Like I said, I am not asking for your spots or honey holes just some basic areas I could catch some and learn and then find my own spots.
Thank you

On lake Lewisville, you can fish the new dam, North side and catch some fish, year round. You can also fish the marinas and catch soe fish, too Specific docks hold trees in them. I would POM you if I could, but will wait until you get a few more posts, then give you some specific advice Hope this helps Tight lines, keep safe and good luck. OH, the Golf Course slough can also hold fish, too
