So my buddy and I were just talking about how much it would cost to ship a bassboat over to France? Anybody know roughly what that would cost?

Good luck getting a pickup to haul it. I saw one truck the whole time I was there. They were mucking stabled at a castle.

Not sure about France, but for comparison, it cost is $3300.00 to ship a 40 Sea container full of oil tools to The UAE.

Apparently basscats and rangers are capable of navigating the roughest of waters from what I read on here daily. Just get one of these big talkers to just run it over there for you.

I shipped my car from L.A to Maui several years back about $600 and my dad sold his 1950 ford pick up on eBay to a guy in England who shipped it there. Bet its close to $1000 but probably have to deliver to a port on east coast.

I think it depends on size and what it will fit in. I think containers are 20' and 40'. But will a bassboat fit in a container? I thought they only have an 8' width on the containers.

It could be done and you probably could sell over there for a big enough profit to cover the enjoyment and buy another when you come back

Hey, lets not go overboard now regarding the Ranger, it has its limitations. It would take 6-9 months to get there and Im sure the owner would like to eventually use it. The Bass Cat on the other hand could handle this no problem. roflmao

Theres a guy on Here who sells boats. He has a guy who buys some of them then ships them to Japan they cost on average 10-12K a boat to get there. And for some reason cant have power poles mounted and graphs. Cant remember the reason.
