I do not use the pedestal seats in my boat at all (2002 Ranger Comanche). I am looking for "plug" ideas. I have googled it and found a couple, but I am interested to see what others have done. Thanks!

If it's a 3/4" hole, I would get a PVC plug from Home Depot. It will be low profile, easy to paint with Krylon, and easy to remove. Probably about $.35.

I saw the ones from Bob's Machine and that is probably what I will buy. I was just checking to see if there were any more out there. The ones from Bob's actually have the o-ring, so water will not leak into the front compartment.

I used a rubber plug I got at Lowes (or Home Depot probably) couple of dollars and works fine - they have different sizes.
