when the elder couple lives there, that yard was the best in the neighborhood. Amazingly taken care of. Then this ole boy buys the place. Digs it all up and installs a retaining wall all across back of house to begin with, and now mounding all that dirt up around his property that would make David Koresh jealous.

Maybe he couldn't afford an in-ground storm shelter so now he is slowly trying to bury his house?!?!?

I think it's some kind out underground grow room, can you imagine what the next door neighbors think. There are those who oppose strict HOA and dnrs but this guy is exhibit a in favor of them. He has literally destroyed the property value of the houses neighboring him. Its shocking.

How much are the houses next to him? I need a place where I can store my backhoe and a few aluminum boat, and 500 used railroad ties.

And for those who haven't seen what we are talking about most of the houses in this area would be say 350k on the lower end to 700k. He is literally at the entrance to his neighborhood and across from golf course and a neighborhood that is 500k average. A half dug out pond, the is a mosquito trap, a bunch of animal cage type things, this weird dirt mound around property, nasty sheds, broken vehicles, piles of junk, this strange cinder block thing he has been building on for a year. I have never seen anything like it.

And let me be clear that I dont buy into the idea that you cant do what you want within reason on your property but when you conduct yourself in a manner that destroys the value of your neighbors houses you have gone to far.
