Is there such a thing as too many brush piles? I've spent most of my time fishing Rayburn where it was never a concern, but just recently started fishing a new lake that's closer to home. It's only about 1,500 surface acres but doesn't have much structure except for docks. We've already sunk some new brush, but with the ability to sink 5+ piles per an outing, how many brush piles is to many? Just curious what your thoughts are...

I know if you build a pile and someone drops a better pile 20 ft away , The first one is no good anymore.

YES!! That will scatter the fish and make it harder to catch numbers off of one spot. You will have to jump from pile to pile more to catch a good mess.
