My $6 cheap fillet knife Billy Bay I bought at Toledo tackle cuts better then my Bubba blade did out of the package. It's junk as far as I'm concerned.

All fishermen are legends in their own minds! Ranger Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Humminbird Electronics,Motor guide, and all the tackle in the world.

Go out on some saltwater boats and watch the deck hands clean the catch for the customers....most will not be using electric knives. Once you master the science of getting a knife scarry sharp and clean a few fish you will never use electric again health issues aside. Nothing is more simple than cleaning fish with min gear and not wandering where an outlet is. What most do not do enough is touch up the blade on a steel...about 7-10 quick strokes is all it needs if you do not dull it to bad.

I pulled the trigger on one and I plan on trying it out on few after my trip.

Was definitely not impressed with the 9" Bubba Blade I picked up. Had to sharpen after every striper I cleaned. Picked up a rapala electric knife that has 3 different power source attachments and it fly's right through them.
