She says "why do you need to stop by Academy or Bass Pro before every fishing trip?" Because I need some more [censored] to fish with! How do you guys purge the stuff you will never use? I got a lot of plastics and baits that will most likely never get wet. Do you donate it, just keep it, or trash it?

I used to have that issue and have gotten to where I just stop buying stuff I dont have to have. If I need to replace something I buy it. If not then I dont buy it. I gave alot away to buddies that were just getting into the sport. Never had a high school team in the country where I live until last couple years.
I can backlash toilet paper.

Yup. Contact the schools club coach. I email our local coach and drop em off at the front desk for him once a year. Trying a lot types or brands of baits Ill never use again and couldnt make myself toss them out. This is a much better alternative.
Now youll have more room for more stuff youll only use once!

Just use up what you have before buying more. Not difficult.

Tell her you need more fishing tackle for the same reason she needs 33 pairs of shoes.

I donate it to high school or college bass teams. They REALLY seem to like ti and are VERY appreciative of the gifts. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

When my wife goes too I get to spend more money on tackle. She loves all those places.
