Im guessing right now is probably the absolute worst time to purchase a 2019 boat since the dealers are just getting them in? Would fall be better to try and get a deal since inventory will be higher and less buyers in the market place? I have narrowed it down to a 2019 520c. Im guessing the best time would obviously be whenever the 2020s come out. My question is when is the best time in lets say the next 8 months?

Yeah, and that it's summer time. If, on the other hand, you're looking to buy a pair of snow skis, this is an excellent time to do that.

if your buying some of these packaged priced boats now is the best time, if your ordering a boat I bet many dealers will give you a good deal on 19s. Almost all brands have a packaged price boat now.

I tried to sell a boat in August one time, on the advice of my new boat salesman, no problem we can sell it. ( my 2 yr old used boat) so I went ahead and bought the new one.. That was a mistake I'll never make again, I didn't sell the 2 yo boat until late April the next year... I had to carry 2 boat notes and insurance for 8 mons... If you can get a 19 now, they should deal with you, lot of anglers laying the rods down due to time of year and heat, and thinking about hunting season that'll be here soon. My guess is their not selling a lot right now..

If your ordering one it won't really matter when you buy. If your getting one off the floor I dont really think it would either but you may be able to haggle a little on those. Used boats is where I think seasons play a bigger role

I do not think summer time is a the busiest time for bass boat sales.

I do not think summer time is a the busiest time for bass boat sales. I dont either. Early spring is when dealers get real busy around here. Around January. If ordering I would get in now, before all the boat show and pro staff orders start rolling in or wait until late spring when all that's over. I would go now though personally. I look at it this way, although I didn't follow my own advice. A 2019 is a 2019, so one bought now will be worth the same as the last 2019 off the line only you get to use yours for a year longer

My dealer told me Merc & Yamaha are both 16-18 weeks out right now on production. Since you're not in a rush, I would wait until Dec or January.

Yes I dropped in and saw Billy Sartin last week. The new Merc V8's has my interest piqued but I am waiting until Merc Racing has one that starts with the numeral "4" Can't let Sinkey have a faster boat than me!

I've also always been told the busiest buying season for boats is January - May so if you are trying to get a good deal, I would assume you would want to try to buy one outside of those months. That being said, everything I hear is the bass boat market continues to grow at a fast pace so it may not matter.
