The hardest part is actually hearing what people have really been calling you. This is true.

I have worn them for several years and the last pair are by far the best I have had. They will screen out the background noise which is very helpful. They are blue tooth which allows your telephone to feed directly into them which is very helpful, though I don't use it unless on a long call which is important. The best feature is the feed from the TV into my hearing aids. Wife sets the sound to suit her, and the feed into my hearing aids is independent. I had pretty much quit watching until I got this feature. Now we frequently watch movies. But one has to be careful as there are lots of scammers in the business who will rip you off big time.

Bob and the other commentary is spot on. I have had mine 8 months and they are as described by Bob. It took a while to get used to them but they have been a big help.
One thing I learned is that they do not have to be crammed deeply into the ear canal. If you do, that can make sore spots. The phone app mentioned gives a lot of helpful options.

I have been through several sets of hearing aid through the years. I have always hated them but had to wear them. I how have profound hearing loss, cant hear anything but very loud noise without them, no conversation without them. Everything sounds terrible with them, cant understand conversation if more than one person is involved in the conversation. I use a FM receiver to hear church services because the hearing aid just dont work well enough for me to understand. I could go on and on with my experience but this should be enough, My advice is, take care of and protect what you have left. When I hear people complain about noise my thoughts are, I wish I could hear it. Conversations get real short after the second huh, so I just dont engage much and the more you stay out of it the worst the understanding gets. Again protect what you have left now.

I have had my first set for about two weeks. So far so good. Very little trouble getting comfortable wearing them. Sometimes have to remember to take them out at bedtime.

Had one in my left ear for about 3-4 years. It helps but I'm pretty much deaf in my left ear. I recommend getting the best one you can afford.
Thanks, Billy

I got mine at Costco. Best $1800 dollars I ever spent. I have 4 programs set up. When you go to Costco they clean them for free while spending $200 at the meat counter, LOL. Costco gives you 180 days no questions asked return policy, that's why I went their. Emmett is right...if you're going to sweat, take them off.

Bought mind at SAMS - $3,400. I mainly wear them to watch TV so as to satisfy my spouse, therefore they really should be called "SPOUSAL AIDS". I hate them when in restaurants, etc. even though they are programmed to eliminate background noise, etc. Usually wind up taking them out in those situations as they make the experience miserable. In short, I have them but wear them as little as possible.
