I'm not a cat person, but that would be rough to watch your pet get attacked and carried off on camera. Can you imagine what that neighborhoods NextDoor App is like right now? Happened in south Florida Link to story and video

I'm not watching the video. But, yeah, I'd be heartbroken at losing a pet like that.

It's times like this I still wish I had an account on Nextdoor dot com. The furbaby crowd would go berserk.

But, but they are cousins. How could that happen? That evil Panther must not have watched enough Disney movies.
On a slightly serious note... a couple years ago Bobcats were really on the prowl in North Dallas/Richardson area and there were several security cam videos of them coming over 8 ft security fences, grabbing Fido or Fluffy and hauling them back over the fence. And people were SHOCKED that wild animals could act that way.

Pure killing machine which are awesome at what they do. That being said, my Mom lives in the hills outside of Raton, NM and has a 180 lb tom that has been seen a few times in the area that has me a little worried. One morning (4 am - pitch black), I was loading my Jeep to return home and a cat screamed at me from 20 - 30 yards away and I tinkled a little as I dove in my Jeep. I got it to scream at me once more and then decided to shut the door and let it leave before I exited the vehicle to run back into the house. About 5 minutes into my wait, I realized that the back door/hatch was completely lifted/open.

I am currently trying to figure out how to approach an issue myself. Half my neighborhood thinks it's a good idea to feed all the foxes, and there are a bunch of them. Can't let my dogs out in the backyard without going out with them to monitor. Last night I let the dogs out and there were 2 foxes in my backyard. Anyone have fox experience?
