My weigh team has been asked to work the weigh station in mid Sept. We have worked many many saltwater tourneys here in the Galveston area the last 20 years but never worked a freshwater event. My SIL here tells me that the event will be a 5 fish stringer and big fish award. You guys up there can give me an idea of just how much an individual fish will weigh. SIL says some may run over 50#. What would be an approximate weight of a 5 fish stringer? (ea. fish weighed individually). Thanks for any input here.

Here is my 2 cents worth about a penny...yall can expect to see most fish in the 2-10 lb range in September. Might be a few monsters caught if someone gets lucky cuz it is Twok after all. Big fish in that lake can get up around 80 lbs but mid september is the wrong month to catch em. It will be brutal if its 104 and zero wind. As far as what the winning stringer of fish will weigh? Thats like trying to pick the lottery...Could be 25lbs or could be 100. Wont be a lot of bigguns caught I can tell you that for sure.
