Last week on Palastine
Lake Palastine has really turned on last week, and has been on fire later that week as we have been limiting out on Crappie!!!
Water Temp has been 72 to 74 degrees. Most fish of been coming off brush 10 to 14 foot of water. Using bonehead tackle stump bugs in colors black neon and Palastine special.
Monday was Marty and his fiance Leann. These guys Fish Lake of the Pines a lot and wanted to give Palestine a shot. Enjoyed my time on the water with this couple just good clean fun with some slabs slinging. Ended the day with 32 Crappie.
Tuesday was Ernie and his daughter Danielle from Lake Conroe area. These two dont get to fish very often so they took off work. And headed to Palastine for some Big O slabs!!! This dad and daughter could, dish it out on each other. Lots of laughs and a great time. They ended the day with 42 big slabs.
Wednesday was Jeremy and John. These two havent been Crappie fishing in a few years. But it didnt take them long to start slinging slabs. A great day on the water and a great crappie bite equals 50 Slabs in the cooler!!
