I agree, then we need to shoot half the people under 40  I knew someone would get it.

Whats the story if youve had shingles? Can you get it again? If so, do you need the vaccine or is it ineffective if youve already had shingles?

Whats the story if youve had shingles? Can you get it again? If so, do you need the vaccine or is it ineffective if youve already had shingles? Wondering myself, I went through shingles this winter and it is ruff stuff, I will take 2 shots if it will help

I had to get a doctors prescription to get one because I "wasn't old enough". I knew a couple of people well under the age of 60 that had horrible cases. Never got a good answer why they set that age minimum at 60, and why would the new shot be at 50? Why not 40 or whenever?

Misunderstood the thread title. Thought this was gonna be a Logans Run remake. Sanctuary was age 30 Filmed a lot of it in Dallas

I had shingles last May. Thankfully a fairly moderate case. Took the meds and it finally went away. I was told by the doc to wait a year and get a shot. What the reason is to wait a year I do not know. It definitely can come back.

Guess I need to see about this I had a mild case also but have a friend in her 70s that got it bad. I sure dont want to go through what she did

I had shingles when I was about 2 years old and now 62 years later I can still remember the pain. According to my doctor you can get shingles more than once which is why everyone needs to get the vaccine and is why I got my shot.
