Is that what I’m smelling in Fort Worth this morning? I know there were some in the panhandle yesterday, but were there any that were closer? I guess maybe the wind was strong enough to blow the smell.

I’ve confirmed that my house is not on fire and none of my neighbors have a fire going either.

Didn't y'all get rain yesterday? Seems the dampness wouldn't support fire.

I know in the fall when ranchers are burning off the marsh prairies along the coast we'll get a smoky atmosphere here almost 80 miles away.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

I got about five drops of rain yesterday. There were several fires confirmed yesterday in Howard County. The panhandle hasn’t had rain in over 200 days.

That’s a good point.

This Oklahoma bashing is uncalled for, unprofessional, and probably bordering on communist behavior.

But, this comment is an A+.

OK has an endless supply of mobile homes, tornadoes have been relocating them since the beginning of time. They just keep popping back up.

The spread of cedar trees is a big part of the problem. The farmers are too lazy to take them out.

Listening to the radio in the E.R today. Our guys and other depts. are out on a 100 acre fire around Mason. They were going to see if they could call in a plane.
