The chicken itself is so small it's probably pigeon, but I'd eat just about anything for the Original Recipe.

The biscuits are awesome, and the gravy not too bad.

Yes, I'm sure the Colonel would be disappointed in what the current execs are serving up, but that "recipe," it's awesome.

We drove by a billboard for KFC buffet last week on our way out to Florida. Can't remember where we were though.

We stopped, enjoyed, then left, but I cannot remember where it was. I've searched.

Does anybody know where there are KFC buffets around Texas, or anywhere? I'm reading about them online, but can't pinpoint them.

KFC has a buffett in Mount Pleasant off of 271.

Used to one in Missouri and one somewhere in the panhandle of Oklahoma.

Honestly, I'm not sure what collared greens are.

I'll look.

Collard. And think similar to mustard or turnip greens. They're spectacular when you have someone who knows how
to cook them.

It doesn't take much. A little pork, salt, pepper, pinch of sugar, a splurt of apple cider vinegar, and cook low and slow.

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, โ€œI mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, thatโ€™s a storybook, man.โ€

Sorry for the misspelling. Kattelyn is correct, and these ladies knew how to do it.

Add collard/collared/colard greens to my list of words I can't spell.
I wouldn't know how to cook them either, but I could learn if interested.

What interests me more is know the Colonel's "11 herbs and spices" recipe.
There are examples online, but I wonder if they are truly accurate.

I'm still waiting and hoping that someone will let me/us know of a KFC buffet near Richardson, but I'd surmise that KFC'buffet has not been built yet!

This is the one I went to also. I believe they still do it.

Several years ago a local d.j. claimed to know the recipe. Chicken, grease, flour, grease, satt, grease, pepper, grease,.......

Mr. Donpilot,
That's close to the original recipe, but it might be missing one thing...lard, but who cares.

It's wonderful! No napkins needed...

I think I saw a sign somewhere a few weeks back that said KFC buffet but I may be mistaken. There use to be one in Corpus when I lived there for a short while around 2004. Dang it was good and I gained some serious weight.

Glad I moved back to Houston! I gave up KFC for Paleo diet.

Thanks, Billy

That KFC is horrible now, store is dirty and needs to be bulldozed and rebuilt. It has not been maintenanced very well at all, hadn't had the buffet there in years. After the big coaches conference they have here every year and your hero Coach Pat ate is weight, they went broke and stopped the buffet. We all call it the "Patterson Effect"!!
