I visit with many people who have a wide variety of breakfast habits. The most detrimental are the individuals who do not eat anything from the time they go to bed until lunch the following day. In physiological terms this is the equivalent to your vehicle being on a 1/4 tank of fuel and you jumping in to go on a 500+ mile trip without any intention for fueling up and expecting the vehicle to function.

You don't have it listed, but water only for me until 12PM everyday now that I started this fasting program.

Before that, I was doing the granola/protein bar thing.

Never a big meal at breakfast, but I eat something 9 out of 10 times. I often don't eat lunch till after 1, so I need the fuel to keep moving.

Monday-Friday nothing. Usually eggs w/whatever leftover meats are in the fridge. We're eating @ Saltgrass tonight so tomorrow will be steak and eggs. food

I eat a lot of different things for breakfast. And I usually eat quite a bit.

Today I had 2 slices of toast, chicken wing meat (4 oz), 1/2 avocado, 1 boiled egg and 3 slices of peaches.

Yes I did...complete oversight. They could fall into the doughnut/kolache category. For example Panera Bread has some bagels that are somewhat healthy while others have as many or more calories than a plain glazed doughnut. I do like a good bagel periodically.

That is a hearty breakfast! Breakfast is my largest meal of the day and they get progressively smaller as the day goes on. Supper/Dinner is the smallest portion for me personally.

I also failed to mention that it amazes me how many people view breakfast as something that has to take place between the hours of 5 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Beyond that it's just "snacking" or a little something to tide over to lunch. Breakfast can be anytime after you wake up as the initial meal of the day. I have known night shift guys who ate "breakfast" at 9 p.m.; "lunch" at 2 a.m. and "dinner" at 6:30 a.m. when they got off work.

No breakfast today but just had some leftover ribeye wrapped up in a low-carb tortilla w/cheese.

Usually it's hard boiled egg, avocado, and some jerky. Then and apple or banana with peanut butter if I'm still hungry.

The first thing every morning is a "full glass of cold water" down the hatch, then coffee with cream and sugar.

The weekdays are different for me due to time.

I eat full breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday.

"full glass of water" should be on the list. It's vital for your vitals.

Depends on free time, and if I feel I can burn it off later if I eat a big one.

Like this morning, got up made a cup of coffee, drank a glass of water, got the kids out the door and down the road I went. Stopped about 10am and had an alsups beef & bean burrito. hammer Im at 8,300 steps for the day so I guess that was alright.

Beef n Beans are good for you. Tortilla would be the only bad part(carb). I eat lots of bean burritos and tostados....cheap and filling.
