This thread gave me some much needed comic relief. 3-6" of rain in 4 days time is really not a huge weather event thats going to close lakes down. LOL. I'd like to see them all stay full to about 3ft high personally, but that may be my inner spro frog talking. Get back to me in June.... I still dont understand why you think this rain is going to cause so many problems. Its much needed but not really enough to close the lakes down, especially in June.

Up to 5 inches predicted here in the next 36 hours. We are under a flood watch. It's the flash flood warnings that get your attention.

It is February and after this week we will have flooded lakes. This means that if we have another event like this between now and June (our wet season) then the lakes will be flooded and close. Follow now? LOL

I thought we were talking about the rain this week... but okay, I'll play along. Will check back in June between frog bites. Nope... Never said the lakes will be closed after this weeks rain. At the rate we are going by June, you will see what I am saying.

I'd only worry about Conroe shutting down.
It could rain 10 inches in 12 hours and they won't release any water.
God loves you just as much as anybody else!!
Jesus offered His life as a gift for you. Please accept it!
