I tie a lot of flies with tungsten beads. Tungsten is almost twice as dense as lead. Sinks more than twice as fast as lead of the same weight.

I did some size 4 90 degree jig hook 7/32" tungsten bead crappie jigs for a friend that's a big Crappie fisherman. Hopefully, they will do as good or better than his lead head ones.
