Had some time to kill so hit a dock for an hour.In 1st 15 minutes I landed 4 fatties, missed 1 bite, hooked and played largest crappie I had on in years but line broke as I was hoisting her up .After I broke her off I never had another fish or even a bite. The kicker is I was fishing in 3'-4' of water. 3 were vertical on poles 1 was shooting under dock.4 keepers were all same length but 2 were taller and wider. Maybe it will be on earlier this year. CPR all.

How deep is the water? Hit mine several times only 13 FOW and not much so far
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

deepest on the dock with current lake level is 4 feet. There are about 100 poles on this dock.Main walkway poles are best ( most shade ) I give it 15 seconds per pole then move to next.

Very nice! Not surprising for blacks, they will get shallow early.
