I remember seeing a fellow advertising to rent his bass boat out for the day on Fayette County Lake. Anybody know where to find him? Or is anyone else know of some place that rents their bass boats out on lakes around the Houston area (within a hour or so drive)?

Ive fished a few times out of Fayette, and never saw a boat rental place, or ads for boat rentals. I know of some places here in the Killeen and Temple area, and its not cheap.

I think Conroe you can rent jet skis, barges, fish/skis, thats about all I know. Anybody know if Livingston or Somerville does? Fayette I never heard of anyone renting them.

I don't think that guy is in business anymore out of Fayette. He lasted about a year. Not sure why he threw in the towel.

Kyle go to the fishing reports section and search Fayette, it's been several years since I've seen a report from him. My dad and I rented a boat from him about 5 years ago. Nice guy, nice boat I think it was $200 for the day.

Yeah I remember that guy. Dang I'd buy a tracker if I thought I could rent it out for $200 a day a few times a month. But for $50 more bucks u could have a guide on Fayette. If ur only fishing.

Yea it wasn't exactly cheap, but I used to fish Fayette every week when my parents lived in LaGrange so I didn't need a guide, just a boat.
