Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

I knew exactly what the article was about before I even read it.
Way back when the St. Louis baseball Cardinals still played in Busch Stadium, my brother was part of the decision group that had them actually switch from turf to natural grass. And money was a big part of the decision. He flew to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Wrigley and a few others to meet with their personnel and view their facilities as part of their decision making process. However, unlike whats described in the article, St. Louis actually was trying for more of the baseball experience vs worrying so much about the bottom line.
Isnt the new facility supposed to be covered as well? Would make it hard to grow turf with no Sol.

Who cares? They already are putting a roof on it because some pansies cant deal with the sun in summer.
They require AC.
That is not baseball. The whole thing is kind of a joke. Its baseball, its summer, yeah its hot... Get over it.

Turf needs no sol or water. Grass or pot can be grown inside or with a retractable roof or, like they do for the Arz Cardinals the entire field rolls out of Univ of Phoenix Stadium into the AZ sun. Harder to roll out a odd shaped baseball field as opposed to a rectangle. But like many other retractable roof stadiums they can gross grass.

I agree. I've been to Minute Made and Miller Park and they feel so small especially for baseball. Baseball should be played outside.

This yep, inside on artificial turf isn't real baseball.
You are not a good or nice person.

Five of the six MLB parks that feature retractable roofs use real grass. This list includes Houston, Arizona and Miami.
I stole that from a star telegram article. I think Toronto is the only one on turff

Yes on the roof, no on the fake grass NO ROOF! The ball goes farther the hotter it is! 76 degrees in an AC cooled stadium in July in Texas is NOT how god meant baseball to be played!

Minute Maid park in July, 78degrees is nice. Agreed. Especially since the Astros already had 69 wins before the end of July.
