Win win
I love my 520 and have only been in a 521 once. Im not good enough to notice much of a difference.
CORRECTION MADE....Think the 520 is 20 4 and if I remember correctly.....the year of boats I was considering....the 521 is/was 20 9..so not much difference.

Ive never been in a 520, but own a 521 and love it. I went with the 521 because my biggest want was a good ride in rough conditions. I would think the 521 leads the race in that category, but wouldnt argue its not as nimble and doesnt have the top speed of a 520. Those things arent as high on my list so I went with the 521. I think it all comes down to what youre wanting in a boat.

I've been in both and day in day out love and own the 520C over the 521 in everyday fishing.

I heard where Cabela's has a 521c which is 20'-9" for $105,000. Pretty red one. It was posted on here but can't remember who posted it. They're also selling Nitro's and Mako's. Wonder why.

The Cabelas in Allen. Pretty boat. Not my flavor. And I would never spend that much on a bass boat even if it were all cash. If youre good enough to need that boat then you probably already own one via sponsorship and if you arent good enough then you dont need that boat. IMO.
If you can't find em wind em.

Just as soon have a Phoenix but I seem to be doing ok in my Skeeter and it's paid for.

521 all the way.
There is a BIG difference in BIG water. IMO
I have been running a 521 since 2010 and I have been in all my buddies 520 and no doubt my boat rides better in rough water. IMO not even close.
If fishing Rayburn and T Bend and you fish a lot of open water the 521 is a Great Choice.
I will say the 520 will fish much shallower water than the 521 from my experience.
Check with Fred at Diamond Sports Marine at (Lake Fork ) I think he can still get you in one this year only.

I run a 520 and my son runs a 521. The 520 seems to be a little wider on the front deck. Far as running big water I would take either one

Not really apples-to-oranges its honestly more a fuji apples-to-gala apples. No night and day differences. 521 specs: 21'7" long, 96" wide and 1925 lbs. 520 specs: 20'9" long, 95" wide and 1825 lbs. I can say from my experiences that the 521 is SLIGHTLY less responsive but feels SLIGHTLY smoother on choppy water. The 520 has SLIGHTLY less storage but from a handling standpoint the 520 was actually SLIGHTLY easier to keep the nose up while running on plane in real rough water(lift). Truly no huge differences(to me) between the two. Get the 521 because this is Texas where bigger is ALWAYS better!

Have had(and have) several 520's and ridden in several 521's.

Prefer the bigger deck on the 520C over the 521 (yes the deck is wider/bigger on the 520c) although ill take the 521 in bigger water. I dont think you can go wrong with either. I run a 520c and like it.
