Is there a advantage to use the quick release mount ? Or just use rubber pads off my old trolling motor
Thanks Kevin

The Ultrex has the same mount as the Fortrex and it works the same way as any other foot control cable steer trolling motor mount.

If you needed a quick disconnect attachment with one, you would with the other.

You can use the rubber washers or go direct to the bow. As far as a quick release bracket the ultrex can be removed from the boat pretty fast and easy by the single allen bolt leaving the mounting bracket still attached to the bow if you need to remove the motor for security and or warranty work.
