Better 1/2 got me one of these for Christmas. Anybody have any experience with these? Looks like it would mangle a crappie fillet but i don't really know.

Looks like it would take more time than just flipping the filet over and removing with a filet knife. That's the easiest part of fileting a fish.
As a Christmas present from the better half...man, you in between a rock and a hard place.

I had a manual skinner back in the day, it was good for skinning catfish. If you are old school and don't like to filet your fish, just cut off head, gut and scale, this is your machine. I learned how to filet many years ago and have stuck with that.
