Are the deep divers that bad?

They arent terrible. They just dont have that thumping vibrationthey dont give a lot of feedback when you are retrieving them along the bottom. Instead of feeling bounce, bounce, bounce, clang, bounce, bounce, bounce like you do with some deep divers ricocheting off the bottom structure and clanging off of cover; you feel a dull dredge as if it was just snowplowing or bulldozing the bottom.

Good info guys! I was just wondering, cause it seems like almost every thread I've read on here, everyone is using those higher $ cranks.. I've done nothing but caught fish on the h20 lures! Never have used a deep diver from them though

I enjoy using H20 lures! Great paint schemes, decent hooks, oval split rings. I have noticed the "feel" of the deeper cranks tends to be different than SK or Rapalas. But for a squarebill that gets thrown into all sorts of messes I don't wince as bad if I happen to lose one!

I like the H2O crank baits and Booyah spinner baits. I was using a CRS+ digging in the mud catching fish and the crank bait ran true even with mud on the lip.

Ive only tried the deep divers and have been less than impressed with their action, glad to read that its not just me that feels this way; because I really wanted to like them due to the price.

I have an H2O that will never touch water unless money's on the line. Every time I happen to be in ACADEMY,I pick one up for 2.99.

This is actually a great analogy as to what I do not like about H2O deep cranks. The squarebills though have all the action, feel, quality....as any brands Ive used.

Only reason I prefer kvd is because they are the only
Ones I can burn and they stay true.

Yeah and I was wondering if it also worked with regular pb. (I too have had good results with the H2O square bills)

I like the H2O until you get into the deep divers. They really do not have a deep diver that is comparable to say the 6XD. Theirs is more like a 10XD. The only thing about the H2O is I don't like their hooks and I replace them which increases the cost but still cheaper than a lot of them on the market.

I have a bunch of them (square bills) in my boat and can tell you they flat out work. I look at it this way - every one I buy, I save enough money to almost buy a gallon of gas for the engine. Lives up to their tag line - For All, For Less!
