I won a unit this weekend and was wondering if it actually works when you go bass fishing? Ive seen them on boats but I have never used one. I figured it would be great for white bass.

I had one for a few years, it broke (case fell apart) and I just did not replace it.
I think it works, the least it does is mask boat sounds...

Yes Pete they work, but like anything they have their time and place. If nothing else it masks the noise of your boat.

Its just like your favorite bait. You have to have confidence in it. Try it and see. But definitely report back to us. I think its a good tool if used correctly. Preferably in shallow water for lmb according to some who use it.

I still can't find an independent study of them. I would have thought a fisheries graduate student would have studied their efficacy by now. Would be a fun study! All the online "evaluations" seem to be testimonials.

I used one for about 9 months and best I can tell it ran the fish off so I took it off. Starting to catch'em again like old times. It came with my boat or I would never bought or used it. If I ever sell my boat I'll put it back on otherwise it stays on the shelf in the garage.

TH Marine bought them, if that answers any questions for you. They seem to have a lock on controversially marketed products... Hydrowave Oxygenator Eliminator Prop Nut G-Force Handle Start a thread on any of them and grab the

I would hate to be the one that's out trying to sell them..... The display at BPS is covered in dust, lol. As it is with everything and anything that suggest it will catch fish or help people catch fish there's a buyer out there somewhere. Remember those helicopter lures Roland Martin was pushing. Lot of folks bought'em. Some boats come equipped with Hydrowave's so I guess they're still selling them. I would like to see BPS hook one up to their aquarium and see how the fish react. Maybe they did after hours and didn't get good results.
