Ok fellow fisherman and women. I'm here to tell you if you don't have any Frubbys in your tackle box you're missing out my friends. I promise you, because the Crappie love them! These fish are choking it. Not just nipping at it and getting hooked in the lip. They are literally swallowing the Frubby. That's no lie I guarantee it.... Since the colder weather has finally arrived, the crappie are wanting a larger profile of a bait. This Frubby kicks it's legs as you swim it through the water column. You can feel the vibration as you lift it up over the brush. Then 💥 BAM Big momma Joe Crappie is on the the line... We have been crushing the crappie with these baits. The reason why they want bigger baits right now is because all the shad have moved into the creeks and rivers right now! From what I've been seeing it's bigger shad like gizzard shad and large threadfin shad. You gotta check the baits out and get in on this action. Here's some pictures and I'll just leave this right here for the proof that's in the pudding. Be sure to get you some Lip Ripper Baits and get your FRUBBY on... www.lipripperbaits.com

Awesome! Those Frubby's are no doubt a tough bait. I will say this from my experience this past week of fishing. This time of year "Larger" is usually the way to go, but on the lake I was fishing this past week the Crappie wanted the smaller profile baits as in Lil Fry smaller. Don't ask me why I am not a Crappie...just telling you what was working for us. We went fishing 4 days and got double limits on 3 of the 4 days. I kept trying out baits until I found what they wanted and then I gave them what they wanted.

A 'Frubby' is the first bait I drop on a brush pile because I seem to catch the larger fish off the pile. Then when the bite slows, I drop a slim boy and continue to catch fish (albeit smaller than the first ones). I'm wondering if the larger profile keeps the smaller fish from jumping on immediately and thus gives the larger fish a chance to hit it. Now mind you, I have caught several unders so they will hit it but most of my better fish will come off the Frubby.

So, should I bring my bow or my fishing gear this weekend?
Tell Chris to let that smile out (it's like a fart - you feel better once it slips out and then everyone can enjoy it).

Todd hit it out of the park with that one!!
