Why is a kayak better in Winter compared to a tube, Waders can be used with either one. A large tube like super fat cat will seat even a heavy rider above the water. Just wonder if I should use a kayak instead.

It's really up to what you are comfortable with. I have tubed in the winter with waders and wasn't uncomfortable at all. Either way will work.

I don't own waders so it's definitely too cold lol!! I personally prefer the tube, but water temps play a huge role.

Fleece lined jeans and neoprene stocking foot waders work wonders.
