Its new for 2017, it is a heavy duty trailer tire and it is made in America.
Just do the research on it. The horse and cattle folks are raving about it and they haul a heck of a lot more weight than your bass boat. 65 psi minimum. This is a trailer tire for driving 75 mph down the freeway. Put one side by side against what ever other trailer tire you want and just see the difference.
Goodyear finally listened to what the consumers' wanted and so far it is shinning.

I took mine to discount Wednesday, had slight vibration over 65. Turns out both brake tires had flat spots and one rear broken belt. mad
Got 4 new radials. they seem to have way better tread pattern then the factory tires, not as bad as I was thinking $343 out the door, but it was still bad news since I just got the boat.

I have a similar issue. My trailer tires wear on the inside really bad. I have to get new trailer tires every 8-10K miles. The insides will be bald and the middle and outside will be practically new. What is causing this?

Your trailer may be overloaded. If you think of an axle sagging in the middle in exaggerated terms as a very heavy load is applied, the weight ends up carried on the inner edge of the tread and the outer edges make a lot less contact with the road.

If tires on both ends of an axle wear equally on the inner edge, then it's likely that the axle is straight but the load exceeds the design limit. This causes excessive bowing of the axle, and therefore a "squatting effect" that will result in accelerated inner edge wear.

If the tire one one end of an axle has excessive inner edge wear, but the tire on the other end of the axle does not, then you most likely have a bent spindle on the end that has the uneven tire wear.

All 4 tires wear evenly on the inside.

Your axles are not aligned. With the load on the trailer, they're sagging in the middle, forcing the centerline of the spindles to angle upward. I understand some truck frame shops can correct this. Think of this as the equivalent to a wheel alignment for your tow vehicle. Well-equipped shops have the ability to hold the frame in place, then use hydraulics to bend the spindles so that they are properly oriented when the load on the trailer. (They usually ask that your bring the trailer to them with the most standard load that your haul. This might be full gas + gear for a lot of us.) When properly adjusted, tires should begin to wear evenly. The shop that did one of my trailers years ago had a laser-based system.

bent axle.

Exactly. Single axle trailers are notorious for this. I took mine to McGill's in Lewisville and they replaced the bent axle with the boat on the trailer. The new axle also had a larger load rating than the factory axle. I'm thinking it cost less than $200.

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.
