I have three and they are quite large. The leaves seem to like to swim in my pool and they will clog a pool skimmer right quick. I know they are coming down with a storm at some point

Now that we know what kind of tree it is, my question now is..Does it produce PEARS?

I had two. Both are now Brushpiles.
Mo How did they smell in your opinion?  Don't remember an odor, The crappie I catch off them smell like every other crappie. Mo

cut it down while its still small and easily a manageable brushpile. It will eventually come down on its own with the help of a good windstorm. there were many on our street when we moved here, they are almost all gone now and all came down in windstorms. Also if its anywhere near your house, they suck the moisture out of the ground and could cause some foundation issues in the future.

Just cut the one in my front yard down. Will have to take out the one out back within the next 3-5 years.
