Fishing has been great at Lake Athens this year. East Texas has seen a few days of cold weather, finally! We are catching better quality fish now but less numbers. If you are looking to get out and enjoy some fall bassin' give me a shout! I still have some dates available this month: October 18,19,20,21,22,25,26,27,28,29 and 30th. I am also accepting trip reservations for this fall and winter. I offer $300 Half-day and $400 Full-day trips (1-2 anglers). Thanks for the report and great tips! Going to the lake for the first time this weekend. Taking my brother out for the first time in a while. May be a little wet but the fishing sounds like its been hot. Hoping the weather stays cool!
