many times while bottom rock fishing out by the islands in California, people will pull up their line with an octopus on it,..............

When I was 7 or 8, a goose kept coming after my Zara Spook in a park pond I fished everyday after school. I'd have to reel up and move away from it. Half way through a retrieve I started getting lit up by fire ants. I sat my pole down and started brushing all the ants off when I saw my pole moving on the ground and looked up to see that stupid goose with my lure stuck in it's neck. I just cut the line and went home. Came back a couple of days later and found my lure floating on the bank. Never had a problem with the geese again!

Brought in a horseshoe on a rat'l trap on RC (still not sure how hook stayed attached). Just knew good luck was in store for us the rest of the tourney day - not so much though.
