Did the Lake X Lures Fat Bastard precede the whopper plopper....or the other way around. Just wondering as the action looks very similar. Price difference is pretty significant. In this day and age of copies, well you know....... click here for fat bastard link

But "Whopper Plopper" is a lot of fun to say.
Thanks, Olen

God made the chicken and rooster at the same time, at least that's what he told me.

Saw this a little bit down on the page you had linked too emory- Bucher Topraider! It's almost a clone of the Whopper Plopper and has some badass colors including some chrome ones! It's made for Muskies and is 2.4oz and 8" long. Bucher Topraider

Been a ton of similar muskie lures for years before the Plopper. Yep top raiders are basically big whopper ploppers and they've been around a LONG time. The fat B from lake X is relatively new musky lure. It's essentially a fat top raider or a nightwalker with a 90 degree bend in the paddle tail. It does make a different sound. Coincidently I did catch a 5lb LMB off the Fat B earlier this year. That may not sound impressive, but I was musky fishing not far Canada so that's an absolutely giant bass for up there.
