If anyone's interested in hybrids at LL I highly recommend Wes Campbell. He took my daughter, 2 grandsons, wife and me out for a morning we'll never forget. I wanted the boys to experience fighting with the hybrids. Wes didn't disappoint. He had us on fish almost immediately and we caught around 50 from 4-10lbs. We kept 17 and let the biggest go to fight another day. Connor, 9, caught the largest fish of the day and Carson, 12, was right behind him with both landing 10 pounders. Wes was all you can ask for from a guide. Kept lively shad on the hooks, netted the fish (sometimes we had 4 on at a time), gave the boys just the right amount of help when needed and then filleted/bagged the 17 we kept which produced many lbs for future fish frys. Pics of Carson and Connor with the bigger fish of the day. 2 are 10lbs and one 9 lbs. It was a day we will all never forget.

New generations of fish addicted kids! Well done! Those are some monster hybrids!

Nice hybrids for all of you. I need to abandon the thumper assembly line and get to LL and catch some of those fatties.

Had to get my boy out after yesterday's action. Here is today's take. Around 20 hybrids and a few sandies in two hours. Silver was the color early, white or chartreuse late. How do I get these things to display correctly....they switch sideways when uploading.

Are ya'll still getting into them on the lake? I brought my family to Roberts this weekend and the bit was tough. Anyone have any hints of general locations and what types of baits are producing the best? Many thanks, I do quite a bit of bass tourneys, but I really want to get some more quality family time and just have fun catching with them. Had to get my boy out after yesterday's action. Here is today's take. Around 20 hybrids and a few sandies in two hours. Silver was the color early, white or chartreuse late.
