Just ordered some of the Luke Claueson finesse jigs. It seems these have a much stouter hook than other finesse jigs so I'm just curious if anyone has experience with these and what line size you use. I am wanting to still keep it "finesse" but don't want to use to small of a line.

No experience with finesse jig but have used Dirty Jigs football head and swim jigs for years and love them. All have stout hooks and quality finish. Good product.

While not true "finesse" by many standards I consider 12lb florocarbon(or even 15lb) as finesse. I'll throw smaller finesse jigs on 12lb if covers not too thick.

I throw it on 10-20 floro and it works well if you adjust jig weight accordingly. And you're right about the hook. Best finesse jig hook I have run into. Small enough wire for lighter line and good penetration but stout enough to handle good fish. Recessed line tie more weedless as well. Wish it came in white, 'spoon
