Looking to buy a used tractor, is Mahindra a good tractor?

I have use a couple out here to mow before the kubota came along, they worked good and seemed to be pretty stout.

one thing I did not like was replacing the hoses to the front bucket, there was no protection and I caught a small stump I didn't see, tore 2 of them in half.

if you get a bucket have someone make you a box out of at least 1/8" steel to protect them.

I have had a 1526 Mahindra for about a year now, it's been a great little tractor. The FEL hoses are covered. That's one thing I did not like about the JD 3038, the FEL hoses just kind of hang out the side exposed.

Mahindra makes a good tractor.

I think Navasot on the THF (may be on here too) is a Mahindra dealer. I'm sure he could point you in the right direction.

I have a Mahindra 4025 2wd w/ loader. If I had it to do over I'd buy it again. real good/ stout/ heavy/ all steel tractor. No issues so far.

Mahindra translates to mow and drink beer.

Do you want information about Mahindra tractor owners or about Mahindra tractors from their owners?

I'll always push Kubota over Mahindra. QC and engineering is just better. Only advantage a comparable Mahindra has is overall weight and that is only an advantage in certain situations.

so not having a DPF filter or regen process or DEF is not an advantage?

I've had two of them. 1st was 35 hp, 2wd. Good tractor, but when I bought it I didn't think I needed a bucket. WRONG. Traded it in for a 59 hp, with bucket. Great tractor, capable of much more than I use it for. Even created roads on a couple of ranches with it that can be seen on Google Earth.

Mahindra usually has some pretty good package deals.

I do have the regen process on my new 52hp Kubota and I do say it sux. Other than that though Kubota is the Toyotas of the tractor world ... they are the most dependable tractors out there IMO.

One neighbor has an older Kubota and I would agree that is a well made tractor, another neighbor has a brand new Kubota and it isn't the same quality. Their QC has slid.
