Haven't been on the water since March and need to get out. Work has been killing me! Anyway, launching after lunch and looking for some tips or reports of what's been going on there lately. Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks!

What's the best ramp to use there? Used to launch at Dove, but haven't been there in years.

Katies Woods is my ramp of choice... hopefully one of these days they'll open McPhereson up again so I can hide from all the pleasure boaters. Lake is fishing good.

They bit a whole lot of nothing out there today, main points, docks, dam, you name it, they had some lock jawitus. Square Bills, Texas Rigs, Wacky worms. Deeper cranks. Bass got better of us today.

We've been having luck off rocky points 5-15ft of water. They have been crushing deep running fat free shad crankbaits. Smaller bass seem to still be up shallow in heavy cover earlier in the day. Hope that helps!
Any day on the water is a good day!

2 bags over 24 lbs in a 3 hour tournament last night... 4th place was still over 16 lbs. Those are some strong weights, lake is still fishing great!

Bite was very, very slow until around 7pm for us. Clouds rolled around that time and the bite really picked up. Managed 5 with 2 slot fish. C-rig and lipless cranks on points for us.
