I've had steaks, burgers, and other leftover meats for breakfast.
The guys at work think something is wrong with me. They say normal people eat bacon, eggs, toast and sausages for breakfast....
The only think missing from a nice streak breakfast is a cool refreshing soda to wash it down with...

Steak and eggs are a great breakfast. Pan fried though.

Pan? You talking about fried eggs?

P.S. those steaks are chuck eyes. Lots of marbling.

Don't knock em till you try em!

I think it's a stupid thing that we have done, designating certain foods for certain times of the day. It's all just food. Eat the food.

I remember the first steak I ever had for breakfast. I was moving back to Texas from Oregon in 1970. I drove straight through to Gunnison before conking out. The next morning I stopped at a small cafe for breakfast. Steak, eggs, and hash browns for $5.25. It tasted pretty good after that long drive and sleeping in the car.

Love the chuck eye steak. Working mans ribeye right there. I look for them all the time.

The worst thing about it is trying to find a restaurant that'll make a steak, fries and a burger for you at 7:00am !!
Most places you have to wait until 11:00am before you can get anything decent to eat.

It was leftovers from the previous night's dinner.
I re-heated it in a toaster oven.
Looks a bit well done but it still tasted good!
It beats eating stale Fruit Loops.....
