My wife and I are renting a house in Rockport on Estes Cove in a few weeks and I will be pulling my boat down from Ft.Worth on May 30th. I have an Epic 22' center console but it does Not have a jack plate. I am an experienced freshwater fisherman/boater, but I've never used my boat on the coast, nor am I experienced in bay fishing.
I am looking for a guide that would be interested in taking my boat for a trip the first day I get there. I'll be using my boat the entire week I'm there, so I want to learn what not to do/where I should be careful, etc., when I first arrive. I'd like to minimize odds of an expensive mistake if possible. I have electronics with GPS, but I'm not interested in marking anyone's spots. If you can share general areas that would be great. I have closets full of freshwater gear/lures but no saltwater equipment, so advice on basic necessities is appreciated.
Can anyone recommend a guide?
Thank you.

Call Anderson guide service 361-450-0805. I used him to show me around Copano bay and found him very knowledgeable.
