What are some good locations for fishing with a kayak on lake lewisville? Was at Stewart Peninsula in The Colony last weekend too many boaters. Tried La Garza two days ago, seemed to be lots of gar and carp coming to the surface. Forget my anchor at home and high winds in my face were a pain. Looking for safe calm places to fish.

This time of year calm can be hard to find. Texas is windy in the spring. I like to stay up in the northern fingers. I like crecent oaks boat ramp

there are some decent places around SP in The Colony. Staying behind the marina back in the no wake zone has some decent fishing back there too
