Going to lake Somerville this weekend. I have never fished this lake. Not asking for any specifics, Can anyone point me in the right direction or general areas, or depth.

First off...great choice of lake! My personal favorite. I have heard that the shad are still running a bit in the morning along the banks near the dam...so you might start there and look for them schooled up. I bet a lot are still in the creeks, so try Yegua and maybe Nails depending on the water level. Look for brush in the 8-15' range. J Moe and Hook Line and Sinker fish it a lot and have been very generous with their reports and advice, so if you are in a bind you might shoot them a pm and see what they have to say as I am sure they can give better advice than I can!
