I'll be offering guided trips to sugar lake now as well as falcon. Just got back from a two day trip and the fishing is excellent as far as numbers and size. Anyone interested in a trip or info give me a call. Thanks, Jimmy.

On a scale of 1-10, 1 being Mayberry and 10 being Iraq, how dangerous is it heading to Sugar now?

Just going on what I personally experienced its a 1, I never saw or felt anything sketchy, but we all know where we are going and there is going to always be some risk involved but as of now I have no issues going over.

I've been twice and although I would not describe it as Mayberry LOL I never felt like I was in danger.
That said you are leaving the United States, and the cartel is active in that area, but American fishermen are not their thing.
Mind your business, remember that you are a guest in their country, and use common sense and you should not have any problems. Some rudimentary Spanish or even better someone who is fluent going with you is not a bad idea.
The fishing is often nothing short of fantastic.
