Just curious as to what everybody is using for c rigs out there.. Personally I use a 7' mh Veritas rod paired with a revo sx, big game15 for the main line, 12# Seaguar red label flouro for the leader..

Well I just recently purchased a Dobyn's 764C 7'6" Carolina special and a G-Rods 7’6" MHC for Carolina. Going to try both out and see which I like better!

7'3" heavy Falcon Cara. I like the little extra length to take up slack.

Dobyns Champion Extreme DX 784C with the new Daiwa Tatula SV TW.It will throw a Carolina Rig a mile. +1 and not have to worry about backlashing the reel. I also use the 784 Champion Extreme but I have a Lews Super Duty on it. I have the Tatula SV TW on a 7ft Loomis for skipping docks.

15+feet: 7'6 Xtra Heavy Ethos, Daiwa Tatula Type R 8.1, 18lb sunline, 1oz tungsten, barrel swivel, 3ft ish 15lb FC leader. To each his own but I am wondering why you use different set ups depending on water depth--I can understand the weight difference but why a leader in deep water vs. no leader in shallow water and a carolina keeper in shallow and regular set up in deep??

I've tried a lot of rods and I keep coming back to my champion 735. I tried tungsten for a while but couldn't tell that big of a difference. 3/4 lead bullet with a big bead. Brush hog or fluke
