This boy from Beaumont Tx is a good un!! I use to play a lot of his music at the original Cowboys in the 90s. He will be at Southern Junction this Saturday night. Last time I seen him he played 2 1/2 hours and not once was I bored.

Chet Atkins was the head guy at one of the record companies in Nashville and he was asked about his career and he said the biggest mistake he made was letting "country music" move into the "pop" area. He wished he would have kept it strictly country. I listened to some "new" country music and I have no idea what category it goes into?

Got a good buddy that goes fishing with Mark occasionally, off the bank on a private ranch that has a cut with a weir feeding into East Galveston Bay ... they slay 'em... reds, specks, and flounder. I've worked at it but haven't made the invite yet. To hear him Mark is a pretty regular guy.
