I have not mentioned anything about this to anyone outside of family at my sister's request prior to now. My BIL lost his 6 month battle with cancer this past Thursday at his home with my sister by his side. When he was diagnosed 6 months ago they found masses in his liver and kidney but no where else. He started treatments and responded well the first round but after that things went down hill pretty fast. It spread to his brain. He was down to 140 lbs from his normal weight of about 250/ He leaves behind his wife (my sister) and the sweetest nicest 15 year old daughter ever!! My brother passed away Feb 2015....he was my niece's best friend. So that little girl has been thru so much.
Please pray for peace for my sister and niece. My mom has really been having a tough time coping as well. Hug the ones you love. RIP Phillip Amlong

DJRRR, So very sorry to read this. Yes, not much worse than the slow sucking of life that cancer does and is. Metastatic brain cancer is horrible with the loss of function. So sorry for the family and they are on my prayer list. May God's grace sustain and comfort them.
