White Rock lake used to be a hot topic in the carp section. Nowadays I never hear anything about it. What gives?

I've caught some smallish (~10#) buffalo there lately, as well as sunnies and GTF (green trash fish, aka largemouth bass :D).

Very busy after 9-ish in the mornings, kayakers, SUPs, rowers...
the west side has a new (to me) roped-off section from about 3800 Lawther south about a mile; about 30 yrs off the shore. Makes for fun when you're fishing and the crew boat decides to rest, turn around, etc. right in front of you...

Typical summer fare! Parking difficult after 10 or so in the morning...
