Here is my question. Back in Feb I was down by Will Rogers in Ft Worth on a Sat.
I started putting money in a parking meter and people started telling me it was free on weekends.
After the roping I came out and had a ticket. I payed the ticket online. Yesterday got a letter
that said I have to pay a penalty for sending ticket in. I called and told them I did not send ticket in and payed online.
I sent them a email with copy of ticket and receipt for payment. Ticket number on letter did not match
the ticket I had. Lady just called me and said they must have issued a ticket and it blew off and someone mailed it in.
Now they say I have to pay that ticket too... Anyone heard of getting 2 tickets in same day and not moving vehicle?
This is BS

That's Ft Worth for you. I got a ticket in 1994 for speeding. I called and called to see if it was in the system, because I was scheduled for back surgery and wanted it dealt with. It never showed up after a few months. The lady told me not to worry about it. A couple of years later I received a notice in the mail about a warrant four my arrest. I went and the judge dismissed it.
